A well-established Bridging Finance company is looking to recruit a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their existing London team.

Their team of more than 200 professionals provide added value to global clients' international operations by assisting these clients in minimising their burdens of taxation and therefore increasing their operation's profitability.

They help British, European and other international professional investors, institutional clients and high net worth families to structure their wealth and manage syndicated and bespoke real estate, credit and private equity investments.


Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities by means of networking and referrals
  • Build relationships with key clients and professional sector contacts
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Present new products and services to clients and enhance existing relationships
  • Ensuring that the pipeline business is proactively managed
  • Representing the Company at trade shows, industry functions and relevant corporate events
  • Identify and pursue new target markets in the region
  • Work with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns and objectives
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Assess each case against the Company's lending criteria and work the deal through to successful completion
  • Provide weekly progress and activity reports and ensure data is accurate
  • Work with the rest of the team to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner
  • Understand the company's goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company's performance


Business Development Manager - Bridging Finance

The Business Development Manager will be required to demonstrate the following:

  • Sales and Lending experience in a financial services environment
  • Direct Bridging Finance sales experience would be ideal
  • 2-5 years of work experience
  • Relevant Market experience
  • Highly skilled communicator with excellent presentation skills
  • Flexible with working hours
  • Excellent English both verbal and written

Job Offer

A basic salary of £30,000 - £35,000 plus an excellent Bonus structure (first 3 month's bonus is guaranteed), Year one OTE approximately £70,000.
