At Apple Media Products (AMP) Analytics, we analyze large-scale data across customer and content provider touch points in order to develop metrics and deep insights to measure performance and drive strategy.

AMP Analytics collaborates deeply with partners across product, design, engineering, and business teams: our mission is to drive innovation at Apple through deep quantitive research of the App Store, Apple Music, iTunes Video, iBooks, Podcasts among other services.  

Key Qualifications:

  • 3 years of industry experience in a Business Intelligence, Business Analyst, or similar role
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgement and the ability to communicate analysis in a clear and compelling manner
  • Deep understanding of metrics and critical metrics and how to use them to guide a business
  • Well-versed in Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Well-versed in SQL, experience with big data frameworks a plus
  • Interest in user interface design, graphic design experience a plus
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Consulting experience a plus


  • Build dashboards, self-service tools, and reports to analyze and present data associated with customer experience, product performance, business operations, and strategic decision-making

  • Closely partner with our Data Science team to develop global BI dashboards, data pipelines, sophisticated security controls, and scalable ad-hoc reporting

  • Engage with Product, Business, Engineering, and Marketing teams to capture requirements, influence end-state way you make decisions, and build best-in-class BI tools to support those partners

  • Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science to craft our data infrastructure investments in support of BI needs

  • Influence upstream data model design, drive aggregate definitions, and develop your own data solutions as needed

  • Successfully bridge analytics and business teams, ability to speak the language of both

  • Provide coverage on ad-hoc analysis from diverse partners and automate those needs over time
