A strategic and tactical role requiring the candidate to create marketing communications in order to acquire new customers and develop the value of existing customers. You will need to work collaboratively and be able to influence at all levels with excellent interpersonal skills. You will have excellent strategic thinking and tenacity to succeed. The role is highly autonomous so you need to be motivated and self-sufficient.

Abilities:
The position is ideal for a self-starting results driven creative individual who is comfortable in dealing with multiple projects in a demanding deadline driven environment.
Writing is the primary skill needed - but the successful candidate must be an outstanding communicator, able to work with many different stakeholders across the company.
The Marketing Communications Manager will act as project manager and writer for a variety of marketing programs, including email, collateral, web sites, social media, demand generation campaigns, events, press and other projects as needed.

An enthusiastic team player is required with excellent written and communication skills. The candidate must be highly motivated, hardworking, results driven, able to build rapport with key stakeholders across the business and able to work well under pressure.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement all external communications activities to support marketing and sales effort including digital and traditional communications
Manage a full communications calendar with multiple targets and stakeholders
Write and edit marketing content to support lead nurture efforts including, brochures, datasheets, newsletters and bulletins
Plan, build and manage marketing campaigns with product managers and sales teams to both nurture and convert prospects into customers and upsell to existing customers
Track success of campaigns from leads generated and new partners signed, through to revenue / margin
Build white label campaigns for our partners to use for their own prospecting / upsell campaigns
Build and drive marketing plans for product launches, key initiatives and events

Write and distribute press releases and maintain a current list of trade, local and national press contacts
Ensure the marketing knowledgebase and marketing section of the Intranet is maintained and kept up to date
Provide detailed weekly and monthly reporting of activities and results

Key skills:
Excellent written English and grammar - this role encompasses the need to regularly produce engaging marketing copy
Ability to manage many projects simultaneously in order to meet strict deadlines - organisational/time management skills are fundamental to this role
Ability to collaborate and build cross-departmental and supplier relationships
Highly literate, keen eye for detail, creative, results-focused individual
Versatile and analytical enough to understand process whilst creative enough to write compelling copy
IT skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel are required. Knowledge of using Salesforce, Dotmailer, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is preferred.
Experience in the telecoms industry is preferred
Experience in channel marketing is desirable

Education:
Marketing, English or Business Studies degree is preferred.
