Commercial Insurance Adviser required by Insurance Specialist based in Dorset and Hampshire. This particular role will be located in the Poole Head Office as part of our expanding Enterprise Team. We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader in this department, taking on responsibility for the continued growth of the department. Salary £24,000 - £28,000 depending on skills and experience.
Relevant experience of working in commercial insurance is essential as are strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide variety of interested parties. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, with the ability to lead a team of experienced advisers in developing a renewal book of business and help generate new business for the department.
As a Commercial Adviser, you’ll be part of our successful and ever expanding Enterprise Team. You will be required to deal with a huge range of different customers, providing the expertise they require and handling and resolving all enquiries promptly and positively.
-Relevant experience of working in commercial insurance
-Good knowledge of insurance products used for direct sales
-Experience using Acturis software
-Ability to deliver excellent customer service
-Ability to work in a team/team player
-Cope and organise varying workloads and pressures
-Good negotiation skills
-Numeracy and literacy skills (to GCSE level/equivalent)
