We are currently looking to recruit to the Community Receptionist / Clerical Officer role. Based in Linlithgow this post provides a community reception role and comprehensive administrative service to support the community health clinical team based within Linlithgow Group Practice.

The successful candidate will be joining the Community Reception Administration Team assisting in the provision of a high quality and comprehensive reception clerical and administrative support to the Community Health Clinical Teams. Core hours will be over 4 days.

As well as carrying out general reception duties such as checking patients in making repeat appointments and dealing with general enquiries both face to face and in person the post holder will be expected to work closely with the Community based Health Professionals and any visiting professionals and also be responsible for reporting and escalating reportable issues in a timely fashion.

The post holder must have good organisational skills a friendly warm manner be able to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly to help cover periods of annual leave and sickness.

Band 2 starting salary of 16532 - 18903 pro rata (Starting point on scale is dependent on term of NHS Service)
