About the role:
Working in as part of an existing team you will be:

  • Working with colleagues, brokers, policy holders, insurers and service suppliers in providing a full claims service
  • Providing a point of contact for incoming broker queries or complaints and keeping brokers and policyholders fully updated throughout the claim
  • Handling a full range of queries with support and assistance from senior staff
  • Training to develop skills and ability in other areas including dealing with claims from policy holders and brokers, developing an understanding of all aspects of cover and liability
  • Liaising with solicitors and vehicle repair organisations
  • Ensuring incoming correspondence is processed and responded to
  • Managing claims from first notification to completion, liaising with all relevant contacts as required
  • Assisting with small claims recovery

Skills and Experience required:
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in a contact centre or similar phone based customer service role. You will be a quick learner who is bright and ambitious to develop from this role to the next level. You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent including English and Maths. Skills in Word and Excel are essential. You will also be flexible to work occasional Saturday mornings (paid overtime for 9am to 1pm)
