Customer Service Representative (12 month FTC)

Currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative on behalf of a global, award winning Pharmaceutical Company based in Gillingham, Dorset.



Your role:

The purpose of this position is to provide support to both internal and external customers, with an unwavering commitment to customer service and the ability to produce outstanding quality work.

The role will entail tasks such as: thoroughly vetting new customers and opening new accounts, comprehensive management of all aspects of customer orders as well as enhancing customer satisfaction through identifying root causes of complaints and a prompt resolution of any complaints.

In addition you will be responsible for entering all email and phone orders for the UK, Ireland, Nordics. Releasing orders from Compliance whilst remaining compliant with legal regulations. Maintaining Customer Master data and thoroughly vetting all new customers before creating new accounts. Creating and maintaining scheduling agreements, and running open order reports. Resolve customer notifications by identifying the route cause so preventative action can be implemented to improve customer satisfaction. Managing Internet and B2B orders. Liaising with other departments. Identify and follow up customer specific requirements.


Who you are:
  • GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English & Maths (NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service desirable)
  • MS package including Word and Excel at intermediate level (knowledge of SAP desirable)
  • Diligent, customer-focused, excellent communicator

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and proficient in the English language
