Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive - Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Band 5 - £22,400 - £29,200 per annum

Location: Hemel Hempstead (The office will be relocating in November 2018, there will be a requirement for you to work in Watford until then.)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of NHS Professionals Limited Marketing Department Team based in Watford.

Reporting to the Digital Marketing & Communications Manager this role will be responsible for the production of a variety of digital content including website copy, email copy, meta descriptions, blog articles and other form of content. Additionally, the role will manage and optimise NHSP’s Microsites, the Corporate website and support our digital channels across B2B and B2C audiences.

Main tasks and responsibilities

This role will identify, coordinate and fulfil digital marketing activities across internal and external audiences which support NHSP and the marketing teams’ evolving goals.

  • Creation of high quality, accurate, creative and engaging content in line with our company guidelines
  • Delivery of projects in a timely manner to a high standard
  • Proofreading and amending of content for other team members
  • Proactively research new technologies and marketing tools and identify opportunities for process improvement and simplicity in execution
  • Brand ambassador for NHSP ensuring tone of voice is on brand when working with other departments
  • Ensure that internal processes are followed
  • Effective liaison with internal suppliers to meet resource dependencies e.g. IT to support

    Copywriter Skills required
  • A passion for producing copy in line with brand guidelines
  • Experience in writing optimised copy
  • Excellent written English and verbal communication
  • Exceptional grammar
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to think creatively, translating concepts from client briefs to innovative copy

    Website Management
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager in testing, monitoring and evaluating website activities to improve customer experiences and maximise engagement.
  • Maintain Content Updates on microsites for client Trusts when directed to, including providing training to our client teams.
  • Ensure content is kept updated on our platforms

    Social Media
  • Assist in managing social media platforms, scheduling in campaigns and responding or forwarding queries
  • Create engaging content for all our Social Media channels
  • Evaluate and optimise engagement
  • Set up Facebook PPC campaigns to promote our services to our various audiences

    Email Marketing
  • Assist the team and the business in setting up ad-hoc email campaigns
  • Provide reporting status back to departments
  • Provide training on the email service provider to team members and other departments
  • Create engaging content for all our Email Marketing Campaigns

The successful candidate will have digital marketing experience, good organisational skills, and have a strong customer service focus with the ability to communicate using different methods and at all levels. You will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics. Experience with Sitecore CMS and any Email Marketing platform is a plus but it is not mandatory. Alongside this you will have the ability to work as part of a team and be individually motivated to manage your own workload.
