E-commerce Account Manager (Amazon, Online Trading, Digital Marketing - Consumer Goods)
Start date: Flexible and willing to wait for the right person to work out the necessary notice period.
SALARY: c.£45-60k plus bonus although there could be a degree of flexibility for the right person and willing to discuss with client possibly company car, pension, healthcare, 25 days holiday allowance etc.
Location - Ideally within a commutable distance of West Yorkshire (although company open minded as key hire and willing to consider a flexible working arrangement), with some travel within UK and internationally as required.
Working exclusively as my client's search agency for a number of years, an established global retailer and distributor to over 80 countries of Consumer Packaged Goods across multiple categories within healthcare, Pharmacy, Toiletries, Nursery for online retailers and high street with offices in US, Europe, South America & Asia and a subsidiary of a major corporation.
The company is seeking an E-commerce Account Manager for its UK office (EU HQ in Yorkshire) to develop and execute a strategic E-commence plan and vision within the UK Market. The business is part of a multi-billion Pound organisation with offices operating globally.
With consumer shopping and buying behaviour rapidly changing, e-commerce is quickly becoming the fastest growth area within the business and additional investment is being made to drive significant growth.
As well as identifying and developing new opportunities to grow e-commerce across Pureplay and omni-channel retailers, the core focus of the role will be to grow the Amazon UK business whilst sharing knowledge and best practice across the EU businesses and aligning strategies.
In addition to the Amazon experience, you will need a mix of eCommerce trading & digital marketing experience to maximise performance at every touch point of the path to purchase. You will utilize key metrics to drive accelerated growth of the product portfolio by focusing on: creating and activating online sales plans and execution, creating digital marketing campaigns and implementing best in class product presentation.
You will also be taking a partnership approach to some of their key accounts, wearing both commercial & marketing hats to drive volume growth through the channel and build strong relationships with customers.

Key Job Responsibilities
·Define and manage the E-commerce and digital marketing plans for E-commerce accounts strategic plans across the UK business
·Development of account plans and programs based on short, mid, long terms goals programs designed to drive aggressive sales volume growth for our online partners.
·Daily, hands-on management and optimization of Amazon, focusing on sales and marketing activities and campaigns including promo planning, product listing optimization, conversion rate optimization. Support and provide leadership on SEO, key word bidding and maximising SSPA.
·Manage online brand experience across other third-party partners including: copy optimization, marketing programs, product setup.
·Lead in understanding product line specific key business objectives and develop growth strategy through qualitative analysis and quantitative data.
·Drive sales and margin through site merchandising strategies working with E-commerce Sales and Marketing to optimize the customer experience and aligning to corporate marketing strategies.
·Prepare monthly sales reports analysing marketplace trends, retail sales, account trends and competitive activity across the account portfolio.
·Communicate E-commerce business results to the company and customer on an agreed performance.
·Interface with all strategic departments within the online partners.
·Assist in quarterly planning & review meetings with online retailers,
·Become the 'specialist’ across Amazon and other e-tailers and share knowledge and best practice across other EU business units.
·Work with Marketing and Sales to identify areas of growth and potential partners or useful technologies to consider in growing ecommerce sales.
·Oversee and work with other team with the business on forecasting, merchandising, pricing, product content, inventory management, market research and demand generation.
Experience and Skills (Preferable ONLY)
·Experience working in key/national accounts and/or E-commerce role with digital marketing experience.
·Strong working knowledge of E-commerce sites, digital advertising platforms, email marketing, and analytics tools.
·Consumer packaged goods experience, perhaps within Healthcare products arena or similar although definitely not essential.
·Previous experience of working with Amazon from both a 1P & 3P perspective plus knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central.
·Good understand of eCommerce strategy with omni-channel retailers and can demonstrate growth.
·Experience of negotiating with buyers on trading terms and equally adept at liaising with digital teams to link online media spend and digital activity to online JBP’s.
·High learning agility, enquiring mind and ability to deal with ambiguity required.
·Organised and have strong skills in numeracy, presentations & communication (both written and verbal) and have excellent analytical and IT skills.
·Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player.
·Passion about e-commerce with a willingness to share knowledge and experience across the UK and wider EU team.
·Last but no means least, bring energy, drive and a good sense of humour.
