To provide an effective administrative service within Education & Youth Employment.


Corporate Responsibilities

  • To undertake individual role in line with the Council’s Strategic Priorities and in compliance with the Council’s corporate policies and procedures.
  • To undertake any other reasonably required duties as instructed by Management or someone acting on their behalf, in addition to the role specific tasks & responsibilities detailed below.

Role Specific Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the delivery of the service and achievement of key performance targets
  • Deliver a high quality, customer focussed administration service
  • Deal directly with routine queries from colleagues, customers and/or suppliers
  • Organise, arrange and minute routine business meetings as necessary
  • Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of data maintained in relevant computerised and manual systems
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of processes to support the continuous improvement of administrative services and customer satisfaction levels
  • Adhere to relevant Council Policies and Procedures in carrying out duties  





Education and Qualifications

  • HNC / SVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline OR
  • Equivalent experience
  • HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
