M&Y Maintenance and Construction is now recruiting an Electrician to work with our M&E team in St Helens.
About the role
Applications are invited for the above post to carry out electrical maintenance, installations, inspection and testing to properties under M&Y responsibility. You will work as part of a team and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing good quality workmanship. Part of your responsibilities could be to undertake fault diagnosis on electrical installations, conduct periodic electrical testing in void properties and fixed wire testing on domestic properties.
The successful candidate must have the Inspection and testing certificate 2391/4/5 and be trained and fully conversant with B.S.7671 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations. You will have experience of communicating effectively in all forms at all levels, must be familiar with NICEIC registration requirements and have a proven track record as an Electrician having completed an apprenticeship or equivalent. Experience within Social Housing environment working to tight deadlines would be an advantage. The working environment is fast paced and target driven as we succeed to be the best company to deliver planned works.
The post requires driving and the successful candidate must have a full driving licence, and be available to undertake out of hours emergency work on a rota basis.
This position requires a basic DBS check.
