DUTIES: Contribute to Commercial Voice Product Engineering team, responsible for designing end-to-end network integrations for new services and product solutions for the commercial voice product, including mobility applications, voice applications, feature implementations, over-the-top applications, Voice CPEs, SS7, CALEA, e911, SIP peering and infrastructure routing, Session Border Controllers (SBCs) and Broadsoft AS mode architecture; implement and develop network solutions using Voice over IP (VoIP) protocols (SIP, RTP, IP, audio/video codecs, DIAMETER), and network protocols and technologies (SNMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP) on Linux operating systems, Broadworks, Polycom, Panasonic and Edgewater devices; participate in design reviews to ensure quality products, operational excellence, and stability; collaborate with cross-functional teams, including vendor, Product Engineering, QA, and operations teams, to perform network integration and testing on large-scale telecommunications carrier networks; plan and execute Operational Readiness Testing on test cases to ensure satisfactory product deployment; support certification planning, deployment planning, and Tier3 operational support, including performing end-to-end troubleshooting for root cause analysis identifications and defect fix support when required; and author and maintain detailed methods of engineering procedures and bulletins, ensuring accuracy through validations and archival for continued use in various maintenance activities.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, and two (2) years of experience working on large-scale carrier networks in the telecommunications industry, including implementing and developing network solutions using VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, IP, codecs, DIAMETER) and network protocols and technologies (SNMP, NTP, DNS, HTTP) on Linux operating systems, Broadworks, Polycom, Panasonic and Edgewater devices.
