We have a great opportunity for somebody passionate to get in to an Accounts role within a forward thinking, expanding, global technology business in Nottingham City Centre. The successful candidate will either have a degree within Accountant or have recently studied your AAT. The purpose of this role will be to support the finance team by processing customer payments and working closely with the Credit Control team to maximise cash collections.


The role holder will be responsible for:

· Cash posting and other administrative tasks to support the efficiency of the credit control function
· Data entry into Sage 200 and reconciliation of bank accounts
· Carrying out bank checks to ensure payments have been received
· Actively chasing debts
· Receiving and responding to customer queries by phone/email
· Making improvements to efficiency of cash collection
· Collecting outstanding debts in a timely and efficient manner
· Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
· Supporting the wider finance team as and when required


The job holder will be an exceptional candidate. In particular they are required to have:

· Strong team ethics in order to work as part of a wider Finance team
· Ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
· Excellent communication skills
· A persistent person who will follow issues through to resolution
· Knowledge of MS Excel
· Ability to work on own initiative
· Ability to deal with a large amount of data


· Experience of using Sage software
· Sales ledger experience
· Fluent in Spanish or Italian
