Role purpose:

  • To be the lead on managing, communicating and calculating, all Technology originating intercompany recharges to Vodafone Operating Companies

  • Influence key decision makers to ensure the fairest and most efficient recharge methodologies are used in recharging Group Technology costs to Operating Companies

  • Create and maintain rigorous, automated recharging cost models

  • To lead on the consolidation of month end financials and variance analysis for all Technology Delivery & Operations (TDO) departments as well as the consolidation and oversight of TDO financials during forecasting cycles

  • To be seen as an excellent team player to others for managing and delivering high performance.

With us you will:

  • Be the GT SPOC into the Transfer Pricing team, Group Tax teams and Operating Companies regarding all intercompany recharge (INCA) topics.

  • Recharge cost base updates: ensure accuracy of Tier 2 service cost bases across GT

  • Intercompany Recharge cycles: To over-see accuracy of offline INCA models

  • Create comparisons of all Tier 2 service costs between forecasting cycles and explain reasons for changes

  • Build relationships within Finance and Technology teams in the OpCo’s and provide regular, structured communication sessions to keep them up to date on recharges

  • Work closely with Financial Analysts supporting the recharge cost bases to understand the future evolution of the costs and proactively project impacts on OpCo’s

  • Work closely with Group technology stakeholders to ensure transparency of recharges to OpCo’s

  • Maintain the integrity of GT Tier 2 INCA services to ensure they reflect the GT organisation.

  • Consolidate TDO forecast financials during forecast cycles, be responsible for creating the consolidated TDO Forecast presentation and communicating it to stakeholders

  • Accountant qualifications

  • Have knowledge of Telecom / IT industry

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior executives.

  • Ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level.

  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills.

  • Proven record as a high achiever in a complex organisation

  • Lives the Vodafone qualities, ensure balance between the ‘ how’ as well as the ‘what’ of achievement

  • Takes an obvious pride in the team and the organisation, uses every opportunity to promote all positively

  • Cross cultural awareness with international experience desirable.

  • Capability to fix and improve existing processes and systems

  • Experience of SAP / BI
