Our client a well established family run company based in chard are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager for a permanent position.

You will be joining a team of dedicated, experienced and efficient staff on a full time basis working Monday- Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with a competitive salary that will vary depending on experience.

As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of Bookkeeping as well as running payroll for 18 members of staff.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Running weekly payroll
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly reports
  • Maintaining a full and accurate audit trail
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Preparing invoices

The successful candidate will have previous finance experience up to Accountant level, experience of using SAGE 50, and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will need to be efficient, accurate and highly organised with to ability to manage a busy workload.
