Our client is a 50 bed Residential Care Home based in North London. They provide outstanding care and support for elderly patients with dementia.
They are looking to recruit a Housekeeping Assistant for a permanent, part-time position.
The hours of work will be 9am - 3pm, 5 days per week.
The centre is a bright, warm and friendly home, with a number of communal lounges that host the majority of the home’s busy social programme.
The role of Housekeeping Assistant will involve the delivery of Hotel Services within the Care Home and Community Centre. This position will be responsible for the effective delivery of housekeeping services to an excellent standard to meet Health & Safety Regulations. Effective communication, ability to work well within a team and be flexible in their approach.
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Ensure housekeeping activities are delivered to the required standard so that the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained.
To ensure on all occasions safe and hygienic working practices are delivered in order to satisfy Health and Safety at Work and other statutory legislation.
To consistently deliver excellent customer service and build positive working relationships with colleagues and services, always responding to feedback to improve the housekeeping service
Qualifications & Experience
Has an understanding of COSHH and Health & Safety in the workplace, or a willing to be trained
Can demonstrate experience in a similar role.
