Our client is looking for a temporary HR Advisor as well as a temporary HR Administrator.

In this fast paced role, the HR Advisor will have full ownership of the day to day running of the HR dept. ranging from all aspects of payroll and admin through to managing recruitment, talent acquisition & retention, learning and development, reward & recognition, all ER related matters and employee life cycle events and seamless and timely execution of many corporate programmes and projects.

Timing is of the essence in this role, you will be required to be both proactive and have a fine tuned, demonstrable ability to prioritise appropriately and independently.

  • Building strong relationships with UK management and leadership group to establish yourself as a reputable first point of contact
  • Give solution focused and practical advice to managers for all ER related matters (130 FTE) hands on involvement with mediation, investigations, disciplinary’ s & grievances up to appeal.
  • Will advise and support on all areas of consultation TUPE/redundancy/change to T&C’s
  • Proactively manage and oversee the lifecycle HR events such as on boarding new joiners, inductions, leavers and transfers/variations. Ensuring all administration and HR systems are kept up to date in real time.
  • Responsibility for meaningful execution of the Corporate Performance Management Programme (PMP) in line with set timeframes and deadlines
  • Conduct and co-ordinate drug & alcohol testing as appropriate
  • Champion, communicate and see through to completion many campaigns and programmes to the UK workforce.
  • Manage day to day recruitment inc. approvals to hire / liaising with recruitment agencies / sifting CV’s / managing applicant tracking system / assist where required with interviews N-3 (General Manager minus 3 levels of hierarchy) checking paperwork pre job offer - through to job offer and on boarding
  • Ensure all employee lifecycle tools such as handbook /inductions / probation reviews etc. are fit for purpose, engaging and accessible to managers.
  • Remaining up to date and current with all changes to legislation/governance and evolving work processes ensuring the departments service delivery is compliant
  • Execution of reward & recognition strategy
  • Full ownership of monthly payroll administration and query resolution
  • Wholly responsible for managing learning & development activities

This is a great opportunity for someone who is CIPD Level 5 looking to progress to HR Business Partner or Manager
