An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Advisor to join our dynamic and fast-paced Human Resources team on a permanent full time contract. This is a key role within the business, where you will be providing support to the HR team and your business partnering group, in order to deliver against the business strategy and the corporate and site people plan within an extremely fast-paced environment.
This role is ideally suited to an individual with more than one-year’s experience in a HR Advisor or similar level role, and has experience of handling short and long-term absence, disciplinary and grievances and on site unions. We would be looking for someone either studying towards, or certified with his or her CIPD, however a willingness to start studying will also be considered. The role is extremely fast paced, and with a number of different business partnering groups that require support in a number of different areas, so the ideal candidate must be used to working in a fast paced environment and prioritising workloads. Therefore, experience in manufacturing or a similar field will be highly advantageous. The role requires the individual to be the main contact on site for both internal and external HR audits, and experience with this would be desirable, but not essential.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working with SAP in order to hit the ground running with the role. Attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy workload are key attributes in this role. You must be extremely self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a small team effectively while driving your own workloads. Given the wide variety of business partner groups, the ability to build relationships and influence are also vital for this role. Assertiveness, organisation and an ability to plan for both day-to-day and long-term projects is also vital. We would be looking for someone that could come in and hit the ground running while becoming a part of an exciting team, working towards making some real cultural change.
