We’re looking for an experienced HR professional to join the HR team on a 12 month fixed term contract. You’ll report to the Head of HR and be responsible for the delivery of key people related projects associated with major change activity across the Brightside Group.

This is who you are…

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have the following skills and experience;

  • At least 5 years HR experience gained in a medium to large organisation with multiple stakeholders

  • Knowledge of current thinking in Human Resources issues and trends and evidence of Continuing Professional Development

  • Extensive experience operating as a lead in people related projects.

  • You will be ready and able to take the initiative and be confident to make key decisions

  • Strong influencing skills

  • Previous HR project planning and project management experience required, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with different stakeholder groups. Able to project plan. Experience must be at a strategic level

  • Advanced experience with HR project management tools and methods to include risk management, strategic planning and change management

  • Strong interpersonal, organisational, analytical, presentation and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to build mutually-productive relationships and interact with senior management and key stakeholders

  • CIPD desirable but not essential. Evidential experience in implementing major change is preferred.

This is the job…

You will be responsible for successful implementation of any agreed strategic projects and will partner closely with the HR team and other operational stakeholders in ensuring best practice and compliance. Working with the Head of HR, you will also identify and action any organisational development initiatives associated with any change programmes. You will be recognised as a change champion amongst the team and key stakeholders.

We’ll need you to establish and maintain relationships across the group and key project stakeholders to understand business needs, ensure alignment on objectives, and ensure ongoing buy-in across all project activities.

You’ll take the lead from a Strategic Planning and Project perspective- translating business objectives into projects with clearly defined scope, timing, deliverables, resources, and key measures of success.

Formulate and continually re-assess the appropriate project management approach and project management skill set / resourcing mix across internal and external partners to ensure all project tasks are successfully completed. You’ll create project plans, including timelines and milestones. Effectively set and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders and define project success criteria and communicate to team throughout project life cycle.

You will negotiate sufficient resources from across the business groups as appropriate.

Post-Implementation Transition and Evaluation- you’ll support the ongoing development of best practices and tools for HR project management and execution, conducting project post mortems and create recommendations in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Brightside Park, Severn Bridge, Aust, Bristol, BS35 4BL. Travel to our other offices in Torquay and Southampton will be required.
