Be part of a vibrant New Business team, selling new policies to those which are not yet clients (prospects).
Achieve or exceed sales targets.
Contact prospects in areas / regions of the country allocated to you by the Business Development Manager.
Some calls are in-bound, in reaction to marketing promotions, but the vast majority are out-bound.
Talk with decision-makers, obtain the data needed and input it into our bespoke systems.
Make a good case to insurers, prepare quotes and provide them to prospects.
Understand the prospect’s needs, explain how the cover works and convert the sale.
Attend regional and national conferences as an exhibitor, to promote our products and services.
Work closely with the Customer Management team (which looks after our clients) to achieve common goals.
Develop and maintain a competent level of technical, product and system knowledge.
Understand and apply all company policies and procedures to ensure service standards are met in accordance with SLA and FCA requirements.
Understand and apply all legal, regulatory, information security and compliance requirements and report any breaches when identified.
Adhere to Health & Safety policies.
