Insurance Accounting Associate required to join an International Finance department, within the Accounts Receivable team, based in Windsor on a 6-month fixed term contract.
*Accurately process insurance accounting transactions, which may include processing inbound receipts relating to premium and loss recoveries and outbound payments for reinsurance and claims settlements.
*Maintain and update vendor database.
*Dealing with internal and external client queries.
*Complete detailed account reconciliations.
*Participate in Insurance Accounting projects.
*Ad hoc tasks as required.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
*Proven accounts experience preferably within an international environment, specifically having experience of foreign currency transactions in a multiple business unit environment.
*Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
*A proactive and diligent approach to all tasks.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of all levels.
*Accurate and reliable with good analytical skills.
*Strong team working skills with the ability to deliver on own objectives.
*Ability to use initiative to solve complex problems and work well under pressure.
*Excellent PC skills and good knowledge of Excel.
