I currently have an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading FM Company covering their sites in Cornwall. Being responsible for their prestigious sites in Cornwall, you will be responsible for FM operational activities across the sites, supervising and developing staff across all trade disciplines to meet the operational targets.

Duties will include but are not limited to:
*Supervise Engineers across the sites
*Lead in the scheduling of work for operatives and contractors
*Manage planned maintenance, raising and completing remedials and reactive maintenance from arranging access and site liaison to signing off works and checking VFM
*Review daily timesheets for accuracy and check efficiency and amend inaccuracies
*Ensure risk assessments are suitable and in place for all works under your control
*Carry out project work under £25,000
*Carry out inspections
*Carry out site safety checks, including tools, equipment and first aid checks
*Risk Assessments and Method Statements
*Checking sub-contractor RAMs
*Obtain quotes from suppliers, source VFM and arrange purchase orders and sign off invoices
*Arrange hire equipment - e.g. cherry pickers, tower scaffold
*Organise and issue parts
*Manage operatives work load and monitor performance
*Review work load and request deferrals when required
*First point of contact for operatives and contractors and site contact
*Maintain call out rota and inform Helpdesk of changes

You must have experience within a Supervisors role, within the Building Maintenance, FM, Construction or similar environment and have an excellent knowledge of the trades (M&E and B&CE) with proven experience carrying out the above duties.

You will hold relevant qualifications (Mechanical, Electrical or Building Trades) and proven skills in supervising teams and works across multiple sites.

You will be IT literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience of working within a budget/fixed price contract.

You must hold a Full driving licence as travel to sites will be required.
