We are seeking an experienced Purchasing and Finance Assistant for a rewarding and varied role working for one of East Yorkshire's leading Agricultural Companies.
Main Duties: Purchasing;
Proactively purchase parts and materials based on anticipated need and stock management
Manage, maintain and audit supplier performance
Produce accurate supplier reporting for financial analysis
React to urgent requests for parts and labour
Monthly stock takes and ensuring accuracy of deliveries
Negotiate best possible value for money transactions
Main Duties: Finance;
Manage Sales and Purchase ledger functions for the Business
Process Sales invoices
Manage debtor days
Produce statements and chase outstanding debt
Maintain Purchase ledger accounting.
This role is very varied and time sensitive and interested candidates must be able to multi task, have strong commercial awareness and enjoy working in a fast paced working environment. Due to location, own transport is also essential.
