Job Description

Working within the transformation arena of a leading insurance business, the product manager will work within an Agile/Scrum focused environment, focusing on the creation of contact centre applications.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an experienced, yet growing team within a flourishing business, where you have the opportunity to make a difference to business critical platforms across large-scale, challenging transformation projects.

Your duties as a product manager will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Engage with key stakeholders at all levels, building relationships and using these to generate commitment and buy in.
  • Undertake exploratory analysis in order to support the investigation of new business opportunities.
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development teams and stakeholders throughout the business.
  • Plan and prioritise product feature backlog and development for the product.
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
  • Ensure that scrum teams always have adequate amount of stories to work on.
  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.

The Successful Product Manager

I am looking for an experienced Product Manager, or Product Owner who has a solid background working within business transformation within an insurer, or financial services organisation, and who has worked on projects that have encompassed contact centre applications.

This role will involve working closely with the delivery team, so experience of end to end product delivery lifecycle is essential.

You will be Agile certified, or at least had experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.

You must be a first class communicator with the ability to confidently interact with senior stakeholders, and third party suppliers.
