Robertson Bell Finance is excited to be recruiting a Part Time Finance Manager in Central London for an education charity with a turnover of approximately £1m. As a standalone role in Finance, this a great opportunity for someone to apply their experience in a way that reflects solely on them, while supporting the important work carried out by the organisation.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the role's main responsibilities are:
*To take responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of the Charity's books by applying strong attention to detail
*Conduct financial analysis to support the reports, for the organisation to make key decisions moving forward
*Prepare monthly management accounts efficiently, helping to improve processes and procedures where needed
*Produce statutory accounts and ensure the accuracy of the Charity's ledgers
*Produce reports for senior management where needed
*To be the main point of contact for answering financial queries for non-financial staff.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant, probably with a background in the Charity sector, who is seeking a part time position. They will have demonstrated the ability to cater for all areas within Finance and relish the opportunity to lead on processes and call them their own. Detailed knowledge of Sage will be highly beneficial. As this is a part time role, applicants for full time positions need not apply.
