Reed Education work in partnership with the schools in East Sussex, supporting with recruitment for short term, long term and permanent positions.
Supply work can be a fantastic way of maintaining a work life balance, and often suits those who have busy home lives or would like to fit in ad hoc work around another job.
With supply work, you can choose the days and hours you want to commit to, and are not tied into a contract or fixed timetable.
Reed Education will take the time to understand your needs and will work with you to try, where possible to get you work in your preferred schools and location.
As a proactive and flexible teacher, you will be able to build relationships with students even in the short time you are at the school. You will be able to think on your feet and adapt where necessary. You will be expected to arrive at the school promptly in the morning, follow instructions about the lessons you will be delivering that day, and will use your classroom management techniques to promote good behaviour throughout the day.
Many supply teachers find that they are able to build relationships with the schools they work in very quickly after making a good impression, and are asked back time and time again.
In order to register with Reed Education you will need:
• An understanding of the UK Curriculum
• Experience working in a Secondary School
• A proof of address
• Entitlement to work in the UK
