Our client is an information technology solutions provider, offering a unique range of leading-edge products and services for data processing, storing and networking. The business also uses intelligent devices to design systems that support compliance monitoring, flow control and asset management to help businesses improve productivity and meet regulatory health and safety standards. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Development Executive to work with the Sales Director to research and develop new clients to achieve the company’s ambitious growth plan.

The role

Duties include:

  • Research and develop new potential accounts via internet research, business to business calls and other media. Organise call plans to achieve daily, weekly and monthly targets
  • Monitor and assess market for trends and opportunities
  • Open new accounts through business to business calls and research
  • Follow up calls and develop accounts Issue proactive offers from stock and incoming stock
  • Maintain relationships with accounts established
  • Monitor and record progress of each account on a company database system
  • Weekly and monthly rolling report to Sales Director
  • Liaising with internal departments to achieve satisfactory service levels for client requirements.
  • Appointment setting for external sales people

The person

You will possess excellent communication skills. Ideally you will have direct IT B2B sales experience and customer service experience and a technical background. You will be organised, ambitious and target driven.
