Have you got experience working with students with SEN? Have you worked with challenging behaviour? Graduated University with a high 2:1/1st class degree in a relevant subject?
Maybe you have team teach, PECS or Makaton training?

An opportunity in South London has arisen for a hard-working graduate confident with working with students with additional needs. Due to this being a role working with vunerable young people you should have a real love for education and be able to show empathy in order to build a long- lasting, trusting relationship with children.

The school is all-through so you would have the opportunity to find your key area of expertise be that Early Years, Primary or Secondary aged students. It is key you have good academics due to the amount of responsibility in leading small 1:1 sessions as well as experience and knowing how to support those with additional needs.

The school supports students in a mainstream environment to help them feel comfortable in their school life. The school has a separate unit to work with students and primarily you will be allocated a student to work alongside dependent on your area of expertise.
