An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client is a leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Lynx & Simple are currently looking for a Shopper Marketing Planning Manager based at their prestigious facility in Leatherhead. This is a part time temporary role for a period of 12 months, working 3 days a week. This role is paying between £44K- £52,250 per annum pro rota, depending on experience.

Job Purpose:

The core purpose of the Shopper Marketing Planning Manager is to lead the annual planning process for shopper marketing activities, through the pulsing plan, to lead the shopper marketing strategy and best practice supplier management. The Shopper Marketing Planning Manager is also responsible for leading the briefing, management and delivery of retail media activities, liaising with third party procurement and Mindshare. The role is also responsible for developing the shopper marketing training plan

Responsibilities:

Annual planning and reporting

  • Responsible for leading the annual activity planning across shopper marketing, in line with marketing priorities, producing and publishing the annual pulsing plan, through the ShopperSMART planning tool.
  • Strategic development of budget framework as part of annual planning process
  • Reporting Brand Marketing Investment (BMI) efficiencies across shopper marketing in line with total shopper marketing savings targets.

Retail Media planning

  • Lead the strategic retail media planning across shopper marketing and third party agencies, developing ways of working with Mindshare and retailer media agencies, creating rate card and capability across all retailer touch points, in conjunction with the shopper excellence team.

Shopper Marketing strategy and capability building

  • Development of Shopper Marketing Capability programme: develop and execute a training plan for Shopper Marketing to build capability and understanding of shopper marketing and associated skill-set; focus on connected for growth (C4G) and connected world

Building Teams and Talent

  • Development of shopper marketing best practice, training and capability and skills dictionary development and skills requirement, and coordinating assessment of the team's capability
  • Best practice planning and communications across Shopper Marketing
