Special Educational Needs Support Worker Person Specification:
For this role you must be a compassionate graduate who has achieved well in your degree, having earned at least a second class degree and previous experience working with children who have special educational needs. You will arrive with an empathetic nature and a passion for teaching. Your portfolio will include the ability to combine a selection of communication skills including non verbal and engaged listening. You must have the skills to quickly develop working relationships and provide an inclusive approach to education.


About the Role:
In this exciting Special Educational Needs Support Worker position you will be supporting the learning of a specific Year 2 pupil who has difficulty communicating. You will be working alongside a passionate and charismatic Inclusion Lead who will offer you all of the guidance you require. Your duties will include providing a positive and secure learning environment for the child in your care, work with them closely to develop social skills and language abilities and support their learning development.
