Our client a well-respected and leading online gaming company is looking to appoint a dynamic and highly skilled Sportsbook Commercial BI Manager.

As the Sportsbook Commercial Manager you will play a vital role in the administration, account management, tracking and optimisation of all Trading supplier services and third party content providers.

Working alongside the Sportsbook Operations Director, you will liaise extensively with Finance, BI, Trading and Product Development to provide insight that drives greater awareness of cost and benefit opportunities that exist within our current supplier matrix

This challenging yet exciting Sportsbook Commercial BI Manager opportunity will see the successful candidate take on the following responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the commercial KPIs for performance within sports betting
  • Interpreting insights and trends within performance and strategy outputs from BI teams to define the key elements of a customer value proposition that enables the company to achieve against performance objectives
  • Manage the commercial relationship with all third party trading data and price feed suppliers
  • Alongside Finance/BI, manage the periodic revenue share process with Sportsbook third party suppliers
  • Alongside Trading Support and Trading Development, establish tracking and reporting techniques to manage and measure third party supplier consumption vs commercial agreements, mapping revenue generation against cost and identifying opportunities for operational/commercial optimisation within the existing supplier framework
  • Support the FP&A processes around budgeting, planning and reforecasting for Ladbrokes and Coral by assisting In identifying and modelling key business drivers. You will add product knowledge and business insight where necessary to the data
  • Alongside Trading, drive the business ownership of the monthly phasing and daily reporting processes
  • Through the creation and delivery of accurate business benefits cases, support the product development and roadmap prioritisation process
  • Manage the monthly reconciliation process with streaming suppliers
  • Establish mechanisms for reporting on streaming consumption, assess revenue impact, manage budget spend and look to optimise the product portfolio from the available partners
  • Support the Customer Experience team in identifying and optimising those user journeys within the UX/UI that drive significant revenues

  • Previous experience of having worked within a sports betting environment would be beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving capability
  • Results driven, hands-on and achieves results that impact the bottom line with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
  • You enjoy taking ownership on issues and have the energy to investigate and drive closure on multiple threads at the same time
  • Experience working with data cubes and also be able use tools such as SQL or other languages to get access to data would be beneficial. We currently use Microsoft SSAS (cubes, Power pivot, Power view, Excel) SQL and Knime as our main analytical tools - familiarity and experience of using such tools would be advantageous.
  • Experience in quickly reacting to business under-performance, working with multiple stakeholders to collate an appropriate response
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong data manipulation skills in SQL and Excel with a special emphasis on producing output appropriate to the audience
  • You will be comfortable working in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to tell a performance "story" succinctly and in an engaging manner
