About the role

As a Technical Security Assurance Authority you will be helping to provide Technical Assurance across the UK Technology estate, ensuring all project deliveries are conforming to the Baseline Security Requirements, to meet our compliance obligations in relation primarily to GDPR and other accreditations and regulations including CAS(T), ISO27001 and CyberEssentials Plus.

This is a newly created role for a subject matter expert to shape and grow within an expanding UK Technical Security team.

Key Skills and Experience

  • An experienced Technical Auditor or Assurance specialist.
  • A solid background in Technology Security Controls (Access Management, DLP, Endpoint Protection, Encryption, SIEM, WAF, IPS, Vulnerability Scanning, Patching)
  • Experience with GDPR and/or other accreditations and regulations including CAS(T) ISO2001 and CyberEssentials Plus
  • A strong communicator with a flexible style and the ability to influence a varied stakeholder community
