TECHNICAL SUPPORT / TECHNICAL SALES SUPPORT / PROJECT MANAGEMENT - TELECOMMUNICATIONS

NEWBURY - £25-30K

Our client are one of the leading Vodafone partners in communications, specialising in business communications including mobiles, phone systems, internet connectivity and more. This exciting and diverse technical & sales support, and project coordination role requires someone with previous experience within the telecommunications industry. Comprehensive training will be given directly at Vodafone H/O in Newbury.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • Technical Support Engineer will work with customers/employees to identify problems and advise on the solution
  • Log and keep records of customer/employee queries
  • Analyse call logs so you can spot common trends and underlying problems
  • Update self-help documents so customers/employees can try to fix problems themselves
  • Technical Support Engineer will work with field engineers to visit customers/employees if the problem is more serious
  • Technical Support Engineer is responsible for Testing and fixing faulty equipment

TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER - Technical Support

  • Meet clients, understand their needs, and develop relationships
  • Convince clients about the quality, price, and after sales service
  • Provide pre-sales and after sales technical assistance to clients
  • Analyse costs and sales of products and determine feasibility
  • Coordinate sales projects and meet sales targets

PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Technical Support

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Make sure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve
  • Help prepare budgets
  • Oversee project procurement management
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Use tools to monitor working hours, plans and expenditures
  • Issue all appropriate legal paperwork (e.g. contracts and terms of agreement)
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests
